Dry Point Etching
There's a Place on the river
Where the beech branches reach tall to the sky
And the roots are exposed
Making great climbing frames
Sadly this tree has since blown down in a storm. Beech trees are not so good on slopes because they have shallow roots. But the Victorians liked the way they looked so they planted them in our valley anyway.
